Alison Davis (“My pronouns haven’t even been invented yet.” -Andrea Gibson) is an award-winning educator, author, artist, and activist who was born in Detroit, Michigan but now lives in Northern California and calls whatever is wild, especially river corridors, home. Alison holds degrees in literary studies and education from the University of Kansas, the University of Notre Dame, Stanford University, Rudolf Steiner College, and Antioch University but considers her willingness to be like Rumi and gamble everything for love as her greatest credential. Her poetry has been featured in numerous literary and scholarly publications; she is the author of A Rare But Possible Condition. Poems and the chapbook Wild Canvas.
